Rameswaram

The journey from Bangalore to Rameswaram (Tamil Nadu) is around 570 kms. We had planned to visit the Ramanathswamy temple which is known for being one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temple. We (Me and my friend) boarded the bus at late evening 8 pm from electronics city, Blr and reached the destination by next morning 7, thanks to the good road between these two cities which allows travelers to achieve time efficiency.

The bus dropped all it's last passengers at the main bus stand. The rick owners surrounded us immediately to take us to the temple and demanded a non-negotiable flat 100 Rs for a distance of 3 kms. We were in no mood to start the day on an extravagant note and we parted away bringing disappointment to their faces and headed into the local bus. We ended up saving 90 Rs as the ticket hardly costed Rs. 5 each - must say, pretty economical.

We quickly found ourselves in the TTDC hotel, a stone throw away from the temple. The hotel is spread on vast area facing the sea and houses many rooms catering to all types of travelers (budget to sea view).

After a quick freshen up, we headed to honor the various rules of the land, starting with taking a holy dip in the sea water (Agni Theertham) and continued our footsteps to the entrance of the temple, with water soaked clothes on. The entrance to the temple costs Rs. 25 each which also covers importantly a holy bath at each of the 22 wells (Tirthas and each having significance) within the temple premises. As we walked the path to the main deity, we soaked ourselves again at each well, from head to bottom with the sacred water that was splashed over us, out of the buckets drawn out from the well by the designated temple staff. It was a great experience which once our Mom blessed us with back in our childhood days. We had to dry ourselves in the hot sun before heading to the main deity as one is not allowed to meet the Lord in wet clothes. After waiting for our turn crossing a long line of devotees, the darshan of the Lord was a very pleasant experience.

Finishing the temple visit, we decided to head on to Dhanushkodi, which is around 22-25 Kms away. We quickly hurried to our rooms and after decent amount of rest, we proceeded to catch the local town bus to Dhanushkodi. The ticket costed 11 Rs each, as usual worth the penny paid. The bus after covering a distance of around 5 Kms left behind the town of people and soon engulfed into a lonely dry deserted straight road until it reached the entrance to catch the glimpse of the sea (Indian Ocean) on the right side and a brown dried up sea bed and hiding the sea (Bay of Bengal) behind it far away, on the left side.

The bus came to a dead halt at the last stop, though the last tip of the land was another 3-4 kms ahead from that point and the road leading to it was also in a very good shape but the entry beyond that point was restricted. All the vehicles had to turn back from this point, as no vehicles were allowed beyond that point. We inquired and found that the road was constructed way three years back was supposed to be inaugurated by the PM of the country and until then the use of the road was banned. We got down from the bus at the stop and the whole stretch of this road hardly had any shops and if one wants to avoid making their stomach turn enemy, better replenish with good sufficient food back when in town. Carry good amount of water with you.

After finding one hawker a distance away who was serving a plate meal consisting of rice, rasam and with no choice of options we calmed down the hunger fire parting with 60 Rs each. Post lunch, we had to strike a deal with one of the van guys to reach Dhanushkodi, who took along a houseful of other visitors via the dried up sea bed and charged around Rs 150-180 per head. The Van (highly depreciated had reached its utility saturation point) started its journey towards the Bay of Bengal sea and pulled itself with great effort obeying its master's order on the dry bed and drove for around 5 kms. The Van driver indicated that due to lack of rain, the whole sea bed had dried up over the years and the sea too never tried to conquer this piece and had chosen to keep itself far away. On reaching, we were greeted by a bluish green sea (Bay of Bengal) who was lazing itself calmly and relaxing under the scorching sun and allowing some boats do their rounds.  The beach was quite clean and scenic and one could spend decent time in the peaceful atmosphere (very sunny and hot though) with the friendly slow waves touching the feet with care, but the van driver had allotted only 30-45 minutes at this place so we had to soon bid goodbye to it and we continued our journey to the abandoned town in ruins. We were informed that the nearest point of Sri Lanka was just 30-35 kms away from this point and the famous Ram Sethu which once connected these two countries had chosen to hide itself deep down in the layer of the sea.

As we reached the ghost town we were explained about the presence of an old railway station which was destroyed way back in the 60s leaving hardly behind any traces of tracks, platform. A small temple nearby where one can catch the glimpse of the stones having properties to float in water. There were some thatched huts housing few localities who seem to live their life fishing and tourism dependent. Crossing the road to the other side, we found an old church beyond recognition facing the Indian Ocean sea. I was taken aback when I caught the glimpse of the clean blue sea. It was quite rough, roaring and lashing itself hard bashing its waves on the shore, as if challenging the Bay of Bengal to wake up. I immediately turned to the left to catch the sight of Bay of Bengal which continued to laze around. This sight of these two seas was certainly surprising - one being quite active and the other least bothered to react. The place is quite scenic and will transform one into a tranquil state as one rarely gets to be greeted by the two seas but the eerie feeling of the dead town does remind that the same natural beauty when in anger can swallow mankind in its fury. After spending some decent time, with a heavy heart and relaxed mind, we returned back to our hotel.

Back there, we decided for a evening stroll alongside the shore and were greeted by a soothing cool breeze which lifted our spirits up - A great way to end a tiring day.

The next day, we decided to head to Madurai to visit the famous Meenakshi temple, noticing that there was nothing much left to explore in Rameswaram. We cancelled our bus tickets to Bangalore for that evening and decided to catch the passenger train which left at 11:55 am as per google search. We reached the platform at 11:25 dot and to our dismay the train had just left the platform right at 11:20 as per its scheduled time. We realized that the train time wasn't updated in google yet.

We immediately headed to the bus station catching a nearby rick and were advised to get into an express non-stop bus to reach early and save time. We found a bus waiting to leave to Madurai and having a sticker of 1 - 2 - 3 on its glass shield, which meant that it would stop only at 2 main bus stations on its way until it reaches Madurai (3rd final stop) and would return back to 1 (Rameswaram) respectively.

The bus wasting no time swayed into its way and very soon reached the Pambam bridge which we had missed sleeping away on our journey the earlier day.  As the bus put itself on the bridge, the place just looked like a wallpaper pasted out. I have no words to explain the jaw dropping sight. Wow, what a beautiful place to catch the sea standing on the tall bridge and soothing the eyes with serene clear and clean blue sea, just marvelous! Most of the vehicles including buses had parked themselves aside allowing the visitors to catch the glimpse of the wall paper and added to it, there was a train slowly passing by on the tracks and people just rushed to catch this amazing rare scene. Being an express bus and accustomed to such sights frequently, the bus just moved away showing no interest. I pinned this place for next time visit and wished the city goodbye for sharing some delightful moments.

Burj Khalifa, Dubai

Burj Khalifa is the tallest skyscraper in the world and no doubt the eyes would be fascinated to catch the glimpse of this structure with its great standing height and providing breath taking views of the Dubai city when placed atop.

It is housed and adjoined to the Dubai Mall, which again is one of the largest malls in the world. One can reach this place through Metro Redline alighting down at Dubai Mall station. Once in Mall after covering some decent steps and floors, as you step outside the open area facing a water body and turning aside on to one's right, there stands the Burj Khalifa. It stands out there proud like a magnificent giant rocket as one looks at it standing at its foot and it appears to be ready to take off up into the skies. The water body at frequent interval of around 30 minutes would play a marvelous colorful musical fountain dancing to the soothing music.

To set foot into Burj Khalifa, one needs to buy the entrance ticket in the Dubai Mall, which would allow them to place themselves on the 124th floor for a view from the top and the entrance time is allotted depending upon the visitor traffic involved. We happened to get the evening slot between 9 to 10 pm. It would be better to book the tickets online in advance to avoid an unwelcoming host situation.

As your time approaches to meet it, one can on board the lift that takes to the 124th floor within in a minute accompanied with a ticking clock playing on the screen accompanied by a thrilling music in the background to lift the spirits.

Once on top, you will appreciate the workmanship that has contributed such height, which otherwise can only be experienced up on a natural mountain or from a flight taking off into the skies.
and the sight of the colorful city at the late evening hour where the surroundings are filled with the various colors of blues, greens & oranges, was just a spectacular sight from above. The vehicles down on the roads and the flyovers looked like tiny ants and the tall buildings in its radius beside appeared to be in their teens, growing up. The ticket would allow one to spend a decent time for 30-45 minutes, wherein the eyes turned merry experiencing the colorful and radiant city which looks splendid and beautiful. The cameras could not capture crisp photo given to the darkly lit atmosphere and we had to satisfy with some decent snaps from the night mode. The experience of viewing the colorful city from the toppest point with the cool breeze playing its round puts one in a state of tranquility. As the place is darkly lit in the evening, the clarity of the photos wouldn't be that great and we had to satisfy ourselves the blurred dark images missing crispiness.

As we walked down completing our delightful experience, I set out big round of applause for those brilliant minds and their hard work that had worked behind putting up this amazing structure, giving a delightful treat to the eyes.

Jaisalmer

We planned our trip to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan and researched on various desert camps in Sam Dunes. Most of the camps were not functioning given to the off season involved and few of those available did not stand up to the mark. We finally ended up zeroing down on Mamas resort in Khuri (40-50 kms away from Sam Dunes) going through detailed reviews of fellow travelers on Tripadvisor and thorough review of the the photos of the camp.

After spending two days at Jaipur, we had headed to this place to explore the desert environment. The resort is around 40 kms away from Jaisalmer railway station. We were picked up timely from the railway station and were taken to the resort with a relaxing meal on the way. The resort is quite clean and the rooms were well maintained and being an off-season, not many souls had invaded them that day. The staff was very polite and courteous and was right on their toes for addressing our needs at the time of check-in.

As the desert is quite hot in the afternoon, we stayed indoors in the AC rooms. They had organized for a camel safari to reach the desert at around 4.30-5 in the evening, when the desert starts cooling down its heated anger. The trip to desert on top of the camel was a great experience and initially scary too when the camel stands up on its feet and marches few steps. One may get a back ache that would live with you for the next day or two but is worth the experience to reach the desert jumping naturally which otherwise our etiquette would seldom allow.

The sand dunes in the desert here is very clean and is certainly a treat to the eyes. As you walk up in the sand leaving behind footprints and the thin sand escaping from your toes, looking around one would notice the area spread afar with heaps of sand irregular in shape and size. Reaching atop, standing in the smooth grain of sand and watching the sun go down turning itself into crimson orange changing with it the color of the desert, is a heavenly experience.

We returned back to the resort as soon as the desert started turning dark. The resort had arranged for a cultural program with tea and snacks, which was an unique experience in itself and the inmates for the day did enjoy the evening whole-hearted humming and dancing to the tunes of the folk music.
Post dinner, the owner Mr. Singh arranged for a jeep safari at mid-night at our request. We were told that experiencing the desert in the pitch dark night was something not to be missed. The way to the desert in the jeep was quite adventurous as the drive had dune bashing in store. We must say that these guys are quite experienced in controlling the jeep as the drive was quite enthralling but surely not for the weak-hearted, children and elders, though. He did show us some wild animals en route that had come out in the night hoping the the human species were far away from them. The desert was pitch dark in the night and unless the head lights of the jeep were turned on, one could not realize whether the eyes were open or shut unless they turned those eyes up above into the sky where the numerous twinkling stars would smile back at you. The desert does look scary with no human soul around with cool breeze greeting us continuously but a look above into the clear sky will compensate for it. Having spent decent time we headed back to the resort to end the day.

On the other day, waking up early to greet the rising sun we hurried to the desert. We noticed that couple of them had hired tents to sleep in the desert the previous night. We wondered how many blankets the cold wind would have demanded them. After spending decent time of capturing ourselves into the digital cameras, we headed on for the dune bashing and we did realize the importance of thrill at that hour as the jeep dived down into the sand from top and makes your heart skip a beat. The drive is literally scary as the jeep overturns left, right, center and suddenly rolling down the sands into hollow bottom and by the time your eyes realized that you were reaching the bottom, the tyres would have suddenly turned sideaways splashing away grains of sand into the air to make the climb up to an another heap of sand and there you are! back atop to go down again and the cycle would continue until you indicate to the driver that you had enough and the adventure thrill comes to a halt.

After having a wonderful breakfast and completing our stay at the resort we headed on to explore the Jaisalmer city to cover prime points for the remaining part of the day - The Fort, Patwaon ki haveli and few other palaces.

All in all, the tour to Jaisalmer especially the desert experience was a marvelous experience to take back home.

Varkala - A hidden gem

This scenic gem has hidden itself in the coastal line of Kerala in a place named Varkala Sivagiri.

The place is well connected via rail. We started our journey to this place from Bangalore. The best train that we could place hand upon was the Yesvantpur-Kochuveli Express, 16561 as this was the train which would place one at he destination in the early morning allowing the full day at disposal. The train starts from Yesvatpur around 3 pm to cover a distance of around 800 km to reach this place. This train does not go to Sivagiri Varkala and thus one needs to aligt down at Kollam as the train heads to Trivandrum. We had booked tickets to catch the Maveli expess (16603) from Kollam which left us at Varkala after leaving behind two stations. For those who prefer Air options, one may need to spend around 1.5 hours travelling 40+ kms from Trivandrum airport to reach this place. We chose this option in the return journey.

We were picked up the hotel folks from the station and dropped at their homestay which was a walk away from the beach. After having our breakfast at the hotel, we headed to explore the place.

Drifting away from the hotel, as soon as we set our foot to face the waters, we were spell bound to catch the glimpse of the sea below standing upon a cliff. The beauty of the place is driven from the tall cliff standing on the shore of the sea overseeing the serene blue waters and the cliff running adjacent to the shore. The walk on the cliff alongside the sea on one side and restaurants, hotels on the other side is a captivating walk and puts one in a different atmosphere. We walked and walked into the never ending path enjoying the morning cool breeze emitting from the splashing waves and after covering quite a long distance we decided to turn and head back.

We were recommended to this place by one of our friend and after reaching the place we felt lucky that we did proceed meeting it as I was spellbound by its scenic view. This place has not been advertised much and I believe the existence of this place is not known to many.

We discovered that 90-95% of the population visiting this place are Foreigners & large part of the place here appears to have been set-up to suit their needs. In fact, I found that the beggars too demanded alms in dollars and were not much interested in the rupee and thus they don't even approach the Indians to beg.

We settled down into one of the restaurant and ordered a coffee which was served in a large tumbler suitable for two. We decided to head to the beach thereon. One needs to walk down the cliff catching the steps that would place them in the beach water. The beach here is very clean and one can spend decent amount of time with the waters. There were foreigners who were jogging their day out, few sun-bathed drowning into their novels, few swam and exchanged fun with the sea and few were engrossed in yoga.

As the day moved along and as we continued to discover this place, we noticed there were options for para gliding for the adventure seekers back on the top of cliff where you fly across the waters. In the later afternoon, we spent our time swimming in the clean water, challenging the waves standing up against them with a wide facing proud chest but they do overcome us with their strong gush.
As the evening set in we hurried up the cliff and the best moment is when you sit in one of those restaurants sipping your evening coffee, munching your snacks and seeing the orange sun part from you into the blue waters. Wow, what a beautiful painting of nature that was!

Coming to the dining options, it does sit on the higher side comparatively, as the price list targets the overseas pool of customers. There are many restaurants to explore but looks like they have formed a union to place the rates uniform across every restaurant, so one would seldom find a variation in prices. It better to order sea food in the evening when the stock is fresh out from the day catch and there is live counter to choose the type of fish, lobster, crabs which would land in your plate after going down the pan and fire. The day one ended with peace.

The next two days, we spent our time covering few ancient famous temples in the radius of two-three kilometers, apart from the long walk at the beach and the cliff, tasty sea-food and large sized tender coconuts.

After spending decent time at this place to our heart contents, we headed back to our homes. The airport is around 40-50 kms away from this place. One can hire a taxi which costs around 1500 - 2000 to the airport (as they factor in the fuel for returning back) we decided to have an adventure of having a bus ride instead after a decent amount of research on google, to save that extravagant spend. It was the matter of change of two buses one that took to the end of the highway and the other continuing its journey to Trivandrum, making you part away with around Rs 200 from your pockets for two. We were looking forward to spend some time in the famous Padmanabhaswamy temple but time not supporting us, we had too hire an auto from the Trivandrum bus stop to the airport.

As the flight flew into the skies with us aboard, the thoughts of discovering this hidden gem in India was a delightful experience. The beauty of this place is not justified in the words that we write/read but is to be best experienced with one's own eyes.

Troubleshoot for files not executing

For those who have there old desktops who would want to continue to keep them their ongoing pals.

I often face this issue on my system running Vista for the software downloaded, not executing when I try to run it or double click it. One solution to address it to right click on the .exe file and then select Properties. Once there at the bottom of the dialog box you can find an option named Unblock the file. Click the same OK  and apply.

Execute and run the file and it would function now

Best Friend

Walking on the path of life all alone,
found a cute person filled with caring affectionate tone.
He came in whenever the whole world went out,
showering unlimited happiness onto me, no doubt.

The only person whom my eyes let them see cry,
to avoid such things again He would always best try.
The other name of life was his friendship,
so his name always found it’s place on my lip.

Added joy, laughter, felicity and care,
deducting all deep sorrows in heart and filling it instead with dare.
Multiplied my courage by filling positive hope to face odd things,
and dividing down my weakness by his precious words which in the ear rings.

Planted the seed of friendship alongwith him long back ago,
nurturing it with faith and love, waiting for it to strongly grow.
It would finally stand up to a magnificent brown tree,
and then on our faces a successful smile we would see.

Ready to sacrifice anything for such a beautiful friend,
who would stay beside me irrespective of the changing world trend.
Whenever on this planet I would be dropped,
wished, his friendship be found.

Colors of month

Leaving behind the year came the month of January,
where people enjoyed the beginning without any worry.

Then followed lovely February,
a season of joy for those valentines waiting for it eagerly.

Marched in the season of March,
for Accountants who work on ledgers timely on their watch.

Stepped in the month of April,
preparing students for exams to fight the battle of 'Fail'.

Came next the heat of May,
making everyone to sweat and in their homes difficult to stay.

Followed next the season of June,
putting an end to the school children’s holiday tune.

Rose out the month of July,
re-uniting school friends back to their benches, who loved each other truly.

Then came the shower of August,
kissing the ground and emitting sweet smell wetting the dust.

Followed then the colour of September,
giving a good harvest and fortune to the long waiting farmer.

Came next the happiness of October,
to show the festival of lights fit to remember.

Popped out then November,
transforming every mind to relax and turn to a dreamer.

Lastly, chilled out the month of December,
sending people with its cool air to deep slumber.

I REMEMBERED YOU

When the bright sun rose behind the mountains,
when the sunflower's gazed up the sun for a glance.

When the bees fluttered swiftly around the flower,
when the butterflies got their different colours newer.

When a plant bore its first flower on its branch,
when a glass of water relieved one’s thirst quench.

When in the rain the earth had its bath,
when two hearts fell in love in their youth.

When the winds sang your presence in their song,
when the season in its joy and lucid, sprang.

When the clouds formed into a dazzling white figure,
when lovers in moonlight saw each other with hearts pure.

When the evenings bought the sweet cool fragrance,
when the nature took its deep breath in the plains.

When heaven felt hell with your absence,
when hell turned heaven with entering of your sweet memories, hence.

When the twinkling stars smiled at night,
when the nights fetched me sweet dreams right.

I REMEMBERED YOU

Broken heart

All their dreams are somewhere lost,
and they wander in search of them like a ghost.
A Heart which had brought light in darkness,
now haunts their minds, murdering liveliness.

Those romantic notes that their ears once heard,
the dark night reminds them piercing hard.
The world becomes for them a place ordinary,
sight of love again will make them scary.

The loved face that disappeared someday suddenly,
will remain as memories for lifetime deadly.
Time the only medicine left, as their option,
to bring such broken-hearts back to a new creation.

Don’t induce false dreams in lives of those who believe in us,
which may never be turned to reality by us.
Since the greatest pain is found in a heart-broken,
turning them mentally dead hitting them grief-stricken.

Journey

One day while on travel in the month of May,
eyes on a girl suddenly fell on the way.
Heart danced and shone wanting to fall in love,
making it merry to enter into a strong vow.

Sight of her did not allow the eyes to sleep,
wanting quickly in her life to peep.
A short conversation with that beautiful girl dear,
made me feel, I know her from many years.

As we talked, we both one thing found,
our interests were almost of similar sound.
Forged a strong friendship in just an hour,
finally the train coming to a halt on platform four.

Parted that evening hoping to meet again,
someday co-incidentally traveling in a train.
Advised my heart to forget its journey love sad,
as now she’s just an another face in that crowd.

Music

‘What is music?’ asked me someone,
said I, it’s a friend when you are alone.
Lifts the spirit of the soul and every bone,
and spreading romantically to every zone,
carrying the power of bringing life even into a stone,
and its that enchanting magic whom refuses none.

Its divine power of healing,
dissolves wounds of human being,
by leaving behind the past sorrows and sing,
along with our life partner darling,
gazing to the sky with birds sailing,
with fairies of fantasy land welcoming.

Its spirit makes my heart dance,
a pretty sight if given a glance,
keep my joys and sorrows in harmonious fragrance,
taking me far away from the world of nuisance,
and drown in its soothing pool putting out arrogance,
and to dance with my love which is a great chance.

Thoughts

A question arose in my small age,
why was I put on this planet strange.
Mom replied ‘to love people and to be loved’,
earn a good name which always will be remembered.

Answered, ‘I do have a name’,
and people love me all the same.
Mom smiled at my innocent reply,
which her ears often heard frequently.

Parents kept me as a precious bird locked in a cage,
and sometimes it put me into a rage,
but when loved in that cage to stay,
go and make your own life, they say.

Growing up in my mom’s fantastic creation,
found an answer to my question.
People leave footprints behind,
so that people like me follow for an opportunity to find.

Life comes only once at a time,
and to make it an interesting journey would be its purpose prime.
Prayed to God if he again drops me on this planet,
loved to be in my parents cage again as their pet.

Nature

Woke up on a summer morning,
sleeping the whole night like a king,
hearing a pair of birds sing,
waiting to fly for their food to bring.

Rays of the sun bright,
filled the atmosphere with light,
and my eyes loved the nature sight,
with butterflies with their colorful flight.

Down in my garden the flowers shine,
taking care of them was responsibility of mine,
loved to lie down on the grass grown fine,
where the bees and birds visited line by line.

Then came evening leaving the scorching sun behind,
which had left people dead tired in it’s grind,
the cool breeze swept over the mankind,
a complete rest for the human mind.

Moonlight

When the day far away is ending,
the change in the colour of sky fading,
at such moment in the garden of feelings,
my fantasies come to meet me singing and brimming.

Nights are delightful because of your sweet dreams,
moonlight is more stunning than the night beam,
you are more gorgeous than them, it seems,
but more ravishing than you is your love theme.

The entire world is in slumber deep,
except you and me are awake to peep,
up above in the sky at the stars in a heap,
to narrate our wishes, those that in secret we keep.

Let’s stop the moon and night from departing,
to spend some more time for a long meeting.
Since its difficult to spend the day waiting,
lets drown into the moonlit somewhere hiding.

Hope

Yesterday, when a girl at me smiled innocently,
felt life as a colourful dream shining brightly.
Eyes had a dream, lips a song, ears her sweet voice,
and to see her in my arms was my only wish,
getting her into life was like hunting for a treasure,
and the feeling of falling in love was an immense pleasure.
A desire to obtain her sprang up in my mind,
as such everlasting joy, nowhere did my heart find.

Today, life has a take a sudden wild turn,
loosing my lady love, all those dreams have burnt.
Opened my dreaming eyes to search her face,
but in that place, there was no more her trace.
Have a lost mind, tearful eye, meaningless destination,
life seems like a bed of thorns filled with dark emotion.
No more does the ear hear the voice ring,
nor does any news from her, the letters bring.

Tomorrow, the rising sun may again shower some light,
brightening the dark path, where I lost my love-sight.
A lustrous dawn again will rise up someday in my life
and a new face will brighten up my soul of grief.
Smiling with the joyous moments with my dreams back in place,
utmost care, heart would preclude to loose its new love’s embrace.

Travel

One wish in my life
is to travel with my wife,
to watch all the beautiful places,
that have left wonderful traces.

Standing beneath another sky blue,
to enjoy the sight of the colour true,
where the birds filled the air with love,
will make me sad from their to move.

Forests with trees giant tall,
frightens me if the animals were to roar and call.
Flowing river water stream,
floats my mind to day dream.

Those splendid monuments and Palaces,
situated far in those huge spaces,
along with displayed goods, rich and delicate,
hung for sale at a high rate.

My heart loved those strawberries pink,
hanging in the garden made me sink.
And the dashing sunshine shining on my forehead,
burns my sorrows waking me from the slumber in bed.

Says my li'l heart

Love is just a word of four letters,
which makes ones life nicer and sweeter.
Showers at any time to create it’s fever,
quickly if shared with someone, it makes one feel better.

It’s that pleasant pain,
which everyone prefers to gain,
in order to dance in its rain,
which requires two cute brains.

To be loved is the greatest thing,
which, our parents right from birth are bestowing.
Son is the star, at which a mother is always staring,
daughter is the wealth to a father, who likes to see her always smiling.

To protect a sister is the love of a brother,
to pray for such a brother is the love of a sister,
to bring a smile on a face is the love of a friend dearer,
to fantasize one’s life is the love of an ardent lover.

A bond similar to friendship,
to abide by it one has to face a bit of hardship,
so hold on to it with a tight grip,
with the name of your love always on your lip.

Smile

If you want people to like you- just smile,
And all your sorrows will go to a mile.
It cannot be begged, bought, borrowed or stolen,
but gets created, when to someone it is given.

The cost is nothing and its value is something,
for some happiness into our life, they bring.
It happens in a flash and lasts forever,
and its memory makes us feel better and sweeter.

It is the nature’s best medicine,
to drive the pains of our loved ones.
As it is an expression of joy,
all your worries it can destroy.

It is a friend as sweet as honey,
to make our life pleasant in this small journey.
An understanding smile from a cute face,
will make our surroundings a better place.

Dream

Everyone in his life has a dream,
which never ends like a long river-stream.
Again gets created in the heart, if fulfilled,
large castles in our mind we begin to build.

Some dreams may not become true,
but in the journey of life they give us some clue.
Increases in magnitude day by day
and in some corner of the heart they lay.

I spend my days in reality with sorrow,
But at night my dreams helps happiness to borrow.
I’m the hero of my dreams at night,
winning many battles on brave warriors through a fight.

I made humans and animals to bow,
with my strongest emotion of love.
waking in the morning, I just scream,
after all, it is only a dream.

First Love

Why to me do you appear so beautiful?
And why do you consider me to be in your life so joyful.
Scrawling in your stomach, I grew each minute in height,
and pained your arms with my weight.

The sun shines brightly at your beauty
and the moon shying away, but you never forget your duty.
With your love, you drive my bad ways all,
and never let me climb a height, from where I would fall.

You bought me into this world, when I was sleeping,
and left me in this world, when I was dreaming.
So that I could enjoy my pleasant thoughts,
floating with my second love in the clouds bright.

You are like a beautiful water-stream
and your heart is just like the soft cream.
Which melts into my heart and drives my fear,
that’s the reason you will stay in my heart forever.

You are the person, who showed me wonderful things,
and your sweet pleasant voice in my ears always rings.
Obtained your love, without laying down any proposal,
So proud do I feel that I am in love with you dear
who is none other than you, oh my sweet Mother!.

Childhood

Once upon a time in my life,
when I was the lad of my father’s wife.
Love came to me from everyone, unasked
and every mistake of mine left unpunished.

Sweet songs of my mother gave me sleep,
and staying far from her would make me weep.
At night, I loved to see the full moon,
And asked from God all types of boons.

Played toys and cars and stayed as a king,
always surrounded by brothers and sisters in a ring.
Thousands of doubts travelled in my mind,
Answers to which, were difficult to find.

Chocolate, ice-creams, and toys was my world,
and my life was in my parent’s hold.
Only asset I possessed was my innocence,
and everyone loved me hence.

Oh! my sweet childhood days,
ever in my mind you stay.
You are that precious thing that I have lost,
which I can never buy at any cost.
